Dear Friend,
I'd like to
introduce you to the Mount Hope Baptist Church - not to a
building, but to a fellowship of men, women and children who have come to
Christ to find life, meaning and fulfillment. We have come together in
response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a Gospel that declares that
although all mankind are sinners, separated from God and lost for eternity,
God has paid for sin by sacrificing His Son on the cross. God's love for
you and me has changed history! All who turn to Him in faith (believing
that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him) on the
basis of Christ's death and resurrection find forgiveness for sin, the
removal of guilt, reconciliation with God, peace of mind and a new basis
upon which to relate to other people. "To all who need comfort -
To all in need of friendship - To those who are lonely and need
companionship - To those who sin and need a Savior - To those who serve a
living God - This church opens wide its arms and in the name of Jesus Christ
says 'WELCOME!'" We invite you to join with us as we worship the
Living God, as we study and apply His Word, and as we grow together in our
faith.
